A description of what Christmas in my Corner looks like. . .
We have Tom's ice skating rink that plays Christmas carols, lights up and the skaters move around by magnets.
A glass nativity scene.
A book nativity scene that I bought not long before I left Georgia.
The minions had Christmas bows placed on their heads.
The Christmas-themed lighthouse all lit up.
They are difficult to see but there are 2 ornament stands on the blue wicker desk behind the Holiday Wish candle. They are both nativity scenes.
Above the filing cabinet, I have the fiberoptic tree that does not work properly anymore (only the color red lights up) so I decided to put lights and ornaments on it. I think I would like blue ornaments for next year though!
Below that are some of the Christmas bears that I had in Georgia. Three of these are little bears with snow globes that I believe we bought in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Then I have the string of blue lights, the string of shell lights and I also have a string of snowflake lights but they cannot be seen in this picture.
I have some of my vintage ornaments hanging from the window frame.
I have a holiday frame with a picture of Roo wearing his Christmas hat (which he still has and wears to this day!)
A fiberoptic tree with Matthew's ornament.
I have a matching blue ornament and lantern on the windowsill.
Then I have ornament stands with a clear ornament with an angel feather, an ornament with periwinkles from the island and sand we used in our wedding, and an Olaf ornament.
There is an angel with a nativity design carved on her. I cannot remember what type she is.
Last but not least, I have just the blue basket with sparkly silver ornaments. Blue and sparkly - perfection! I have said it before but I will say it again, my Corner is my Happy Place!
I hope to have a weekly or bi-weekly blog with updates concerning what I am currently writing, reading or researching.
