When I lived in Georgia, and when my boys were growing up, we decorated our home for most holidays and a great majority of our decorations consisted of teddy bears. I was rather excited this past week when I found two bears dressed up for Halloween, one as a black cat sitting on a carved pumpkin and one as a dressed-up witch carrying a pumpkin. I thought they matched perfectly with the cornucopia and mini pumpkins and mini gourds I found last week at a local grocery store. They bring a little bit of autumn to my little corner, and autumn is my favorite time of year! There's just something about the crispness of the autumn air and the beauty in the changing leaves. It all whispers of the promises of the approaching new year.
I hope to have a weekly or bi-weekly blog with updates concerning what I am currently writing, reading or researching.
